We wanted to find out where we are with our carbon footprint

We are currently in the midst of having a full audit done on our use of carbon while doing business in the water filter technology-   

The preliminary results are nothing short of astonishing (in particular when we compare our type of activities with the ‘”Bottled water industry”-

A long time ago we had a dream-

A  long time ago,  about 1988 onwards my good friend Roger B. with the same environmental conciseness and convictions as I, were looking at each other and kept on thinking and talking. There had to be another, better way of supplying “ Endless Pure Drinking Water” at a price that everyone could afford.

All of these huge Spring Water trucks spewing out diesel fumes while collecting processed water from a factory and delivering it as bottled spring water to all these offices and factories.

That of course was in the days when only the environmentally most aware (called greenness) heard of the words- Carbon footprint, (see more @ carbon footprint  and or at Wikipedia carbon-footprint used the words “save the environment” and never heard of the term “Carbon Bank” (see more @ ICBE) or Carbon exchange (what the hell is that all about anyhow?) carbon market and Greenhouse gas( see  more of this @ Greenhouse gas

Well we did find a better way and now 20 years later, we are in the forefront of delivering products and services supplying the end user/consumer with “Endless Pure Water” at a price you can afford ( without any trucks spewing out Diesel fumes(see more about this @) would  you pay petrol prices for spring water?
Of course there are still filters to be manufactured, (see more a@) Water filters  water coolers (see more of these @) Water coolers to be delivered to the customer, but this is a long way away from the manufacturing, bottling, (see it at bottling plant) transporting delivering and collecting 15Lt. spring water bottles (see it at Spring water transportation )

Do you know, the message is gradually sinking in even at government level (see it at water is costing us the earth) there are actually more and more people acting on issues  demonstrating (not just talking about it) actually demonstrating  with their action and behaviour a real environmental consciousness- just look at this-

In order to make an example and be at the forefront of doing something about reducing the carbon and poisonous emissions caused by “Spring water delivery” trucks, in Canada, the State of New York and California USA   and as of now our own “Manly Council (NSW) (and at all of the Google offices), they use the slogan (“Do No Evil”) all but banned the delivery of Spring water bottles to any of its municipal and other offices- (see more about that at Bottled water )
